Muriel Flowers
Panting Art meets Jewelry
This project is due to the coincidence of an event and the talent of my sister-in-law Muriel. Muriel is an extremely talented draughtswoman in watercolour and pencil and uses her talent, among other things, as a children's book author.
For my wife's birthday she created a wonderful greeting card, which inspired me immediately to turn this motif into a jewellery project.
The project Muriel Flowers was started. One of the biggest challenges was to transform the peculiarity of the pen and watercolour drawing into an engraving without losing the original character. After many trials and prototypes, the first objects are now available as numbered pieces.
The material is 925 silver, with yellow gold and rose gold file accents. The polished surface underlines the interpretation of the structure of watercolour paper and enhances the main motif with brilliance. Each piece is handmade and consecutively numbered.
